JOIN US TO LIFT THE LID THIS OCTOBER

Trekstock & Maggie's invite you to a joint 'Lifting the Lid' panel event, with experts and members of the cancer community at Maggie's West London. Hear from people passionate about voicing the challenges faced by many, when diagnosed with cancer in the BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee) community.

The event will champion cancer support, awareness and representation of the community, with fabulous food from Saima Thompson, a young adult diagnosed with cancer and founder of the award-winning Masala Wala Cafe.

Press, bloggers, and healthcare professionals are invited to hear from a panel of young adults about their experiences of living with cancer, treatments, support and awareness in their communities.

Join us to open up the conversation with;

Saima Thompson, Angel Shepherd, Yahyah Assina and Toral Shah will be all talking about their experience after their cancer diagnosis.
Plus 1's are very welcome.

Our Story

Trekstock was founded in 2009 by Sophie Epstone after she became aware of a huge gap in tailored support services for those diagnosed with cancer in their 20s or 30s.

National Three Peaks Challenge

Brace yourself for a fast-paced and physically challenging adventure, as you take on the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. Considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges, the National 3 Peaks Challenge takes in the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) and your challenge is to do all this in 24 hours!
