After a fantastic event last year that raised a phenomenal £6,299.85 Trekstock and Blood Cancer UK, the stars of the West End are once again returning to the heart of Covent Garden to perform at Ellen’s Monday at the Musicals. This year the event will once again support us and the brilliant Children with Cancer UK.

If you know Ellen, you'll know how much she loves musical theatre, and you'll also know just how much joy it's brought her over the years as she's navigated the after-effects of two cancer diagnoses.

Ellen was first diagnosed with Acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL) at the age of 9, and then again at 12. Since then, Ellen has been living with the late effects of her diagnosis and treatment, including chronic fatigue, heart failure and intracranial hypertension.

Speaking about what inspired her to once again put on this epic event Ellen said:

"I think sometimes it's difficult for some people to understand that life is never the same after you have cancer. I just wanted to do this event to raise awareness and to celebrate my love and passion for musical theatre, all while raising money for charity. It's honestly an absolute dream come true!"

We are so grateful to Ellen for her tireless fundraising and support of our charity. Without generous people like her, we could not continue to support young people in their 20s and 30s to navigate life through and beyond a journey that doesn't stop when cancer treatment ends.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this fantastic event and get your tickets for 20th May 2024 here.
