WORLD CANCER DAY

Today, on World Cancer Day 2022, we're so proud to announce the artists taking part in this year’s Merch For Good fundraiser - a line of exclusive t-shirts designed and donated by some of the world’s best artists and musicians. 100% of the profits from each sale will help us continue providing tailored social and practical support nationwide to young adults in their 20s or 30s as they live with, through and beyond cancer.

T-shirts by Glass Animals, The Cure, The Snuts, Bullet For My Valentine, Nothing But Thieves, The Damned & Simple Minds are available now. Plus we've got more artists dropping designs in February including Yungblud, Ellie Goulding, The Chemical Brothers, Mel C, Razorlight, You Me At Six, Blossoms, Lacuna Coil, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Pale Waves, Cat Stevens/Yusuf, Jamie Campbell Bower, Keane, KT Tunstall, Jack Savoretti, DJ Shadow & Don Broco.

"Many of the people I love most in the world have suffered from cancer. Physical problems aside, I have seen the psychological and social side effects surrounding it overwhelm them. If each t-shirt goes a little way towards helping someone find their footing, it’s a huge win." Dave Bayley, Glass Animals

On getting involved in the campaign and the meaning behind their design, The Snuts say, "This design was inspired by the idea that although you can’t control the challenges that life throws at you, you can try and control the state of mind you face them with. Each smile represents one of the 34 young adults that are diagnosed with cancer each day, and have to face the challenges that life has given them."

On contributing an exclusive design for this year’s campaign, Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds said "We are delighted to be involved with the Merch For Good initiative by Trekstock and their support of young people living with cancer"

“Trekstock is a great charity - I am delighted to be involved in their new Merch For Good Range” Robert Smith, The Cure

Previous supporters of the campaign include alt-J, Bastille, Birdy, Bon Iver, CHVRCHES, Foals, Idles, Jimmy Eat World, John Grant, Royal Blood, The Libertines, The National, Editors, TV on The Radio, Twin Atlantic, Warpaint, Wolf Alice and many more. All of their exclusively designed t-shirts are still available to purchase via our online store.

Each t-shirt is priced at £24.99 and is sustainably made to order, using water-based Eco Inks that are
100% non-hazardous, toxin-free and totally vegan. 100% of profits from each sale directly supports young adults living with cancer.

“As a small charity, we're always completely blown away by the level of support the music industry gives Trekstock. This special Merch for Good collection is our biggest one to date and has the power to change lives. We could not be more grateful to all the artists and their teams who have donated their time and creativity to make a difference to the lives of those in their 20s or 30s affected by cancer. We hope you love the designs as much as we do." Sophie Epstone, Trekstock Founder
